Each routine must include at least two synchronised and continuous pole sequences, each lasting a minimum of 20 seconds and performed by at least three performers.
• One sequence must be off the ground (aerial).
• The second sequence can be either off the ground (aerial) or on the ground (base work).
Minimum of 4 and maximum of 12 performers per group
Open to all levels, genders, anywhere in Australia
Total of 5 brass 40mm X-Poles, 3.6m metres high, row of 3 in front, 2 in back
Routines to be between 3.5 - 4.5 minutes in length
Groups do not need to be from the same studio
No more than 2 people on any one pole. All 5 poles may have 2 people at one time
Group must contain at least 50% or a minimum of 4 performers from the original entry
Choice of static or spin, for any pole
Performers can be in a maximum of 2 groups, with each group having at least 5 members
No restrictions on use of grip on body
Music will be first in best dressed
Items of clothing may be removed, strictly no nudity, minimum of g-string and pasties
No restrictions on footwear
All props must be approved prior to competition
All performers must sign a waiver, or by parent/guardian if under 16 years of age
Performances will be recorded and photographed
Failure to adhere to the requirements will result in disqualification
